Open Studio Project 2006 was organized by Clare Davies, Associate Curator at the Townhouse Gallery of contemporary art.

The curatorial process behind the selection of Open Studio has been informed by ongoing discussions with participating artists, independent curators and especially, the Triangle Arts Trust as a main partner.

Independent curators associated with the Triangle Arts Trust include, Helmut Batista (Brazil) and Pooja Sood (India). Basak Senova (Turkey) and Regine Basha (USA) have also been critical contributors in the curatorial process.
