Mohammed Al Riffai                                

Probing the interrelation of the dimensional and non-dimensional make-up of our sensible environment, Mohammed al Riffai is an artist and independent architect based in Ottawa, Canada. His low-frequency audio and site specific works have been shown at Gallery 101, SAW Gallery, and in situ at residencies, workshops and performances at the Cairo Geothe Institut and the Sinai Desert in Egypt, the Banff Centre for the Arts in Canada, and most recently, in an artist-run workspace occupying three war ravaged buildings in Aley, Lebanon.

 

محمد الرفاعى هو فنان ومعمارى مستقل يقيم فى اوتوا بكندا ويهتم بدراسة العلاقة التبادلية بين الابعاد الملموسة وغير الملموسة فى البيئة المحسوسة. وقد تم تقديم اعماله السمعية والمكانية فى جاليرى 101، وجاليرى سو، وبرامج اقامة الفنانين، وورش عمل، وعروض ادائية فى معهد جوته بالقاهرة وصحراء سيناء فى مصر ومركز بانف للفنون فى كندا ومؤخرا فى مبنى دمرته الحرب ويدار حاليا كمعرض فنون فى عالية فى لبنان.
